Certain services such as private sick notes, letters to whom it may concern, fitness to travel, insurance claim forms and some medical examinations are not covered by the NHS and charges are made in line with BMA recommendations.

Non-NHS Fees
The NHS does not cover some medical examinations, reports and certificates. Typically these include insurance medicals, holiday cancellation reports, private patient certificates, medico-legal work and private letters or certificates for employers.
