Community pharmacies can provide the emergency contraceptive pill

Community pharmacies can now provide the emergency contraceptive pill free of charge as part of the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service. From today women will be able to access the emergency contraceptive free in high street pharmacies across England.
‘Ask your community pharmacist week’ runs from 3rd to 10th November and here is a reminder of the other services that your community pharmacies offer:
- You can now access a wide range of over-the-counter support and medications for minor health concerns, including:
- sinusitis
- sore throat
- earache
- infected bites
- impetigo
- shingles
- urinary tract infections
- digestive problems
- eye, ear, oral and dental care
